DUAL ENROLLMENT
*If you are interested in enrolling in college courses as a high school student, please communicate this to your guidance counselor and administration. You must be aware that the cost of taking any courses outside high school is your responsibility.
- Interested students should meet with their high school counselor to discuss dual enrollment, how it fits and works with their high school schedule, courses they are interested in taking and the application process for the college/university they are interested in.
- Students complete the dual enrollment application process. Once accepted, talk to the College Admission Department about your courses and class schedule.
- Schedule an appointment with your school counselor. Provide the high school with a copy of your acceptance letter & college schedule. At this time, upon approval, your schedule at the high school can be adjusted. Sophomores must take a full day's schedule at the high school and can take college courses in the evening or asynchronously from DCCC and Goldey-Beacom College only. Juniors and Seniors are eligible to take dual enrollment classes during the school day but must still have a full day schedule (1 college course = 2 high school class periods).
