My name is Abby Mathiot, and I am from York, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Central York High School in 2013, then went on to earn bachelor's degrees in Music and Music Education from Lebanon Valley College in 2018. The 2025-2026 school year will be my seventh year teaching at Oxford! I grew up playing the cello in orchestra, and I love sharing my passion for music with others. In addition to teaching strings, I am the contemporary worship leader at my local church. I also have a studio of private string students, and I play cello for wedding gigs with the Vivace Live String Quartet from time to time.

I got married in August of 2025, so you may already know me as Miss Hudson!

When I'm not doing anything music-related, I like to cross stitch, shop, read, travel, play with my dog, and see my family and friends!
