The School Social Worker is dedicated to promoting social, emotional and academic success for all students by enhancing the delivery and quality of social work services. In addition to providing programmatic assistance and support for all schools in the Oxford Area School District, the program offers ongoing development opportunities for parents within the school district and in our community. The School Social Worker also emphasizes on current trends and best practice models, methods for addressing social/emotional issues, and multicultural competence to meet the needs of our diverse student body.
