Principal: Tami A. Motes
It is a honor to be a part of the school community in the Oxford Area School District. I come to you with 20 years of educational experience. After graduating from Temple University, my career began in middle school as a 6th grade teacher in the Upper Darby School District. After earning my Master's Degree from Saint Joseph's University in Educational Leadership, I became an Assistant Principal at Beverly Hills Middle School. My most recent experience has been at the Oxford Area High School as an Assistant Principal. I love spending time reading and doing outdoor activities with my husband and two children, Cooper and Peyton. I am excited to be working with middle school age students and look forward to a fantastic year creating strong students who are academically prepared for the high school.
Assistant Principal: Dr. Jeanette R. Lennon
It is a privilege to join the school community in the Oxford Area School District, the place that I consider home. My entire career has been devoted to education with a focus on student learning, engagement, and supporting the whole child. I have served as an educational leader in Delaware and recently in the Coatesville Area School District. I have held various teaching positions serving students in grades Pre-K - 12. After serving as a former 4th and 7th grade teacher, I held many leadership positions, such as an Instructional Coach, Elementary Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal, and Supervisor of Special Education. I have worked with diverse student groups as well as traditional and alternative academic settings within the public school system. I am excited to bring my experiences and skills to Penn’s Grove School. An important ritual in my day is taking the time to meditate each morning while drinking coffee before the school day begins. I enjoy spending most of my time with my family and friends or just relaxing in nature reading a good book. My favorite activity is traveling to new places, especially with my core group of friends, whom I have known for over 30 years.
