Hello and welcome!

My name is Mrs. Hanna and I am thrilled to be working at Hopewell School again this year.  I have been here at Hopewell since 2015. Two of my own children have graduated from Oxford Area High School while enrolled in the Dual Enrollment Program with Cecil College. Both of them have graduated with a Diploma as well as an Associate's Degree!  They are currently enjoying the many challenges that college presents. My youngest has also chosen to pursue degrees through Dual Enrollment. 

Again this year, I will teach Mathematics, Science, and Writing. As of 2024, this is my 7th year teaching these areas. Previously, while in the OASD, I taught the ELA and Social Studies curriculum.

We use the Math in Focus curriculum from HMH. This can be accessed through CLEVER at any time. For homework, I prefer to have the students complete a spiral review. I ask the students to complete as many problems as they can within 20 minutes each evening. Please encourage your child to complete as much as they can within those 20 minutes.
